Trivia: Salma Hayek specifically requested to appear in the film. When director Julie Taymor mentioned the role of the Bang Bang Shoot Shoot Nurse, Hayek replied, “Just ONE of the nurses, Julie?”

Goofs: Anachronisms: In the scenes taking place on the high school basketball court, there are floor markings for a three point arc. High schools did not adopt the three point shot until the 1980s.
